Noah Wall is a multidisciplinary artist and composer based in New York. His work synthesizes listening and compositional practices, often repurposing source materials in new conceptual frameworks: field recordings in Guitar Center, bridges and public works of NY utilized as tuned percussion, an Eno-sanctioned anagrammatization of the Oblique Strategies. Wall previously ran Knowawall, a design studio with such clients as Maya Lin, David Lynch, Massimo Vignelli, and Vik Muniz. He received a Grammy nomination for his work on David Byrne and St. Vincent’s Love This Giant. Wall was a member of the MIT Media Lab from 2014-2016. He is also a photographer.
